FAQ

How much is shipping?

We now offer two tiers of UK shipping on all UK orders. Outside of the UK there is a flat rate of £15 for a tracked international service, to anywhere in the world.

How long will my order take to dispatch?

Due to the nature of JMA's products orders can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to fulfil during busy periods. Items like T-Shirts will always dispatch quicker than Close-up pads that are made to order and custom pads will always take longer to fulfil. Rest assured, when you've placed an order it will get to you.

What is your returns policy?

Many items on JMA are made to order, especially custom pads and as such these cannot be returned once purchased. If however your purchase arrives damaged due to shipping we will happily work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Items that are not made to order can be returned within 7 days of receipt provided they are unused/as new and in original packaging where applicable.

How are your custom pads printed?

The provided artwork or our own designs are dye sublimation printed onto suede and velvet before being upholstered onto the close-up pads. We chose dye sublimation as this form of printing never wears and never comes out. Dye Sublimation is far superior to vinyl printing, heat transfer and screen printing and does not affect the movement of cards, coins or any magic props across its surface in any way.

How do I get my artwork to you?

Previously we had a built in design suite but many people still prefer to email in their artwork for approval before print. This can be sent to contact@jmauthentics.com once an order of your custom pad is placed or if you are unsure of your artwork feel free to message us anytime.

Is there a fee for artwork?

If your artwork is in a fit for print state there is no editing fee. There have been instances where customers have submitted low res jpegs and although not ideal we are able to work with these. If however you wish for us to edit and change aspects of your logo/artwork/etc we made need to charge a small fee to cover the time taken during this process. We do ask that if you wish to have a custom pad made that you know exactly what you want and have already sourced the artwork, ready for submission.

What material do you recommend?

This is all down to personal preference. Many previous customers have told me how they love the suede as it has very little "catch" to the fabric and is great for both coin and card work whereas other have told me how they love the more luxurious feel of the velvet. My preference is for suede on a hard-backed pad and velvet* on a roll up but at the end of the day it really is your choice.

*please be aware that due to the nature of the piled velvet we seal the edges of all roll up pads before dispatch. This may appear rough but it is to ensure the longevity of your purchase.
